PROJECT 1: CASE STUDIES: BASIC BUILDING DESIGN STRATEGIES
In this project, we have visited building in Singapore as case studies. We were then required to record and analyse and information and data collected in terms of thermal comfort and passive design. The building for me and my groupmates is Nanyang Technology University, Green Roof. We were then compile every data and information o 2 A3 board for submission. Images attached below are the outcome of our analysis.
In this project, I'm glad that I have the chance and opportunity to visit this popular school in Singapore and also get the chance to understand about the basic building design in terms of sustainablity. Throughout this project, I have learnt about designing building is not only about the aesthetic appearance but also about the thermal comfort provided for the occupants. Thus, this module has taught me about the practicality and also providing thermal comfort while designing buildings.
